We arrived on Thursday afternoon...walked in to a table full of freshly caught crabs (thanks Poppy Joe and Anthony)!! Just the kind of welcome that I was looking for!! All of the kids were there so Chase and Cole were very happy to see their cousins. Here's one shot of me and Reese...she's grown so much since we last saw her!

Our Annual Trip to Delaware for the Italian Festival
This is why I haven't been blogging...we've been on the GO!!! We had a wonderful time in Delaware visiting w/ the family and a few friends! We did so much, I am not even sure I can remember it all to write about it. Here is our trip in pictures

Poppy Joe let Chase drive the John Deere!
Friday, we gathered for some family pictures and then we headed off to the Children's Museum.

The boys loved working on this car!

After the museum, we had lunch at the Big Fish Grill. More seafood so of course I was happy!!
That night, we went to the Italian Festival so the kids could ride some rides.

Saturday, we went bowling. The boys were hilarious! They bowled 2 games complete with lots of hollering and high-fives!!

That night, we went over to Pop Pop Wishe's to hang out for the evening. We had some Grotto's pizza and Tasty Cakes!! Our weekend was full of tasty food (if you hadn't already figured that out)!!

Sunday, it was back to the festival for the procession and more rides!

After all that, we were beat! We went over to Matt and Jessica's that night to watch the season premiere of True Blood and relax before our trip home the next day! Here are the boys in the airport waiting for our flight. I think Cole was over it and just ready to get in his crib!!!

Memorial Day Weekend in Calabash
Better late than never, right? I know this happened almost a month ago, but things have been crazy, as usual, in the Conte house! We took a trip to Mom and Darrell's house last month to celebrate Mom's 60th birthday!! We had a blast while we were there and really enjoyed seeing everyone.
We spent Friday at the pool. The kids loved it, of course! They are back in swim lessons again this summer. Well, Chase is done. His refresher course only lasted 2 weeks. Cole, on the other hand, is learning the swim portion of the swim-float-swim, so it is taking him a bit longer. We are down to his last 5 days now, but we keep getting rained out. Cross your fingers for good weather for the next 5 days!! Anyway, back to our trip...

Saturday, we went shopping at the outlet mall and then had a birthday party for Mom that evening. Darrell cooked shrimp and crab legs, and we stuffed ourselves!!

Sunday, we headed for the beach. It wasn't too crowded, and we were able to spend a couple of hours there thanks to the nice, sunny weather!

We headed home on Monday morning. Chase asked if he could stay there! We told him that he had to come home, but that he and Cole would be going back up there soon to spend a week! I know we are all looking forward to that!!
