The boys and I went to spend some time with Dad and Lisa last weekend, while Nick went to a bachelor party in New Orleans! We headed for Tallahassee Thursday afternoon and spent the night at their house. Friday morning we got up early and headed for Panama City for a couple of days! We had a great time even though the weather wasn't very cooperative! It was overcast most of the weekend and rained a little bit. We did get a good afternoon on Saturday, so we went to the beach for a couple of hours. The boys loved it!! We ate lots of good food and we even went to the boys' new favorite place...Bruster's!!

Sunday we headed back to Tallahassee and had lunch with Grandma and Grandmother. Mady stopped by too and Cole had fun playing with her for a little while before we left.

After lunch, we headed back to Jax. I started feeling bad that morning and was ready for bed by the time we got home! I managed to get the boys a bath and put to bed! Chase stayed in my room since Nick was going to be getting in late that night and he wanted to be able to see his daddy! His flight was delayed and he ended up getting home around midnight!! No matter the time, we were super happy to have him back!
All of us had a great weekend! It was nice to spend some time w/ Dad and Lisa even if the weather was less than great!! We still did lots of fun stuff and enjoyed our visit!
Our week since we've been back hasn't been great. I came down w/ strep throat and was out of work for a couple of days. I am finally feeling almost normal again and I am so very thankful that no one else caught it (knock on wood)! I am looking forward to another great weekend this weekend!
Sunday, we headed for the beach. We have really been enjoying going there this summer! Hopefully the oil mess is going to stay far away so we can continue to enjoy it! The boys were so content just playing in the holes that they dug in the sand! They played in them for hours! It was great. The water was a little bit warmer than last time we were there, thank goodness!!
Well, it's already Friday again. It's been crazy here at work, so I haven't had much time to blog! We are having a one kid weekend this weekend! Chase went to Panama City with my dad, Lisa and Braden. While he's off on vacation, we are going to enjoy a "vacation" with only having Cole at home. We plan to go out to dinner tonight, and then I want to clean out the toys tomorrow while Chase is not home to yell at me for getting rid of things! I think Cole is enjoying being able to play w/ all the toys w/o Chase yelling at him!! It was a little quiet at home w/o Chase last night so we'll see how the rest of the weekend goes. We will definitely be anxious to pick him up on Sunday evening!!!
