Cole's Christmas Program

Cole's preschool had their Christmas program last night. He did such a great job singing all of the songs! We really enjoyed watching him up there. Here are a couple of pics and videos for you.

He was a good sport about wearing this outfit even though he hates pants and long sleeves!

Popcorn! Get your Popcorn!

Who could resist buying popcorn from this cute Cub Scout?

Chase and Nick went to a cub scout meeting a couple of weeks ago, and they decided to join. Nick signed up to be co-leader of Chase's den, and they are both really enjoying it! The first big event is a popcorn fundraiser to support the pack. Chase and another boy from the den stood outside of Walgreen's one Friday night for 2 hours selling popcorn to people! They really did a great job and got a bunch of sales. I have tried to convince Chase to make some phone calls to his grandparents b/c they should be easy sells, but he is just not into talking on the phone! Then I suggested he make a video that I could put on the blog. No go on that either. So, my last resort was a picture of his cute, smiling face! I think it may still do the trick! :-) If you are in interested in checking out what he is selling, click on this link! He would greatly appreciate any purchases! There is some very yummy stuff on there. The caramel popcorn is the best seller, but those chocolate covered pretzels look pretty good to me.

Football Season is in Full Swing

Fall is definitely my favorite time of the year! It's really not cooling off here just yet, but I'm hopeful that nicer weather is just around the corner. I am indulging in every pumpkin flavored treat I can get my hands on and football is everywhere so it must really be fall even if the weather doesn't agree! Here are some pics of the boys during their first weekend of flag football. It's definitely been fun to watch them out on the field! (Cole is #43 and Chase is #7...just in case you need help finding them in some of the pics!)

This past Sunday we went to the Jaguars game and suffered through another loss. We enjoyed ourselves as usual...just wish they would start winning some games! At least I got some decent pictures!

Bird Leaves and Monkey Bars

When Cole and I were leaving his school yesterday, he found some feathers on the ground. He picked them up and said "look Mommy, bird leaves"! I said "oh you mean feathers?", but he liked his description much better! Some of the things he says are so funny! He's growing up so fast. He's working on the monkey bars at school and can get to the 3rd one! He was trying out the monkey bars at the playground last night so I was able to snap a couple pictures of him!

Such a Handsome and Smart 1st Grader

The school year is cruising on by. Half of the 1st 9 weeks is already over and interim reports came home yesterday. We were thrilled by Chase's all A's! We are encouraging him to keep up the good work! He also brought home his school pictures, which I thought turned out really great as well! We are so proud of our little man!

Jags Game

We had a great time at the game on Sunday even though the game didn't go as we had hoped! We'll be back out there on September 30th hoping for better results (thanks Dad and Lisa for the tickets)! We always have a fun time hanging out with friends for the tailgate and just enjoying the football atmosphere!

Of course, Nick had to try it out too!

Not a great picture, but it shows how close we were to the players! After they all went by, Chase kept saying "That was so awesome!!" over and over again! I think he liked it!

Wild Adventures

We had such a great summer full of fun trips and visits with family! Our last getaway before school started was a trip to an amusement park in Georgia called Wild Adventures. We had a blast! They have a water park inside of the amusement park so we were able to spend 2 days there and not even do all they
had to offer!
