BRRRR.....It was cold, but being in VA was worth it!!

After living in Florida for almost 7 years, I think it's safe to say that we are officially spoiled by the weather! We were such chickens when we got out of the car in VA on Friday afternoon...it was SO COLD!!! We got up early to tailgate for the game and ended up sitting in the back of the cars for most of the time. We bundled up, but were still cold!! Luckily it was a noon game so the sun was shinning. I am not sure the boys knew what to do in that kind of weather. Cole was so bundled up that he could barely even move. I think our dream of sending the boys to college in Virginia just may not come true! They are definitely Florida kids...Chase repeatedly talked about getting home so he could wear shorts and a t-shirt! We did have a great time despite the weather. We met up with our friends Todd and Lindsay and they were finally able to meet the boys. It was great to see them for the 2nd time this year! The boys loved being in the Hokie stadium and we loved having them there. We have already booked a trip for the first game next year over Labor Day when it will be much warmer! We are looking forward to being able to spend a few days up there and to show the boys how awesome it really is!
