Yes, I do realize it is now May 2nd and I am 2 months behind on this blog!! In an effort to quickly bring everyone up to speed, I am going to condense March into 1 big post!

Mom and Darrell came down to visit the very first weekend in March. The weather was beautiful, and we were able to spend one afternoon at the park. The boys loved that, of course. Darrell and Nick were teaching them how to fish. They didn't want any part of touching the worms, but the enjoyed the rest! We had a great visit together, but it went by way too fast, as usual.
One Sunday afternoon, we headed to Adventure Landing to play mini golf and ride the go-karts. The boys loved mini golf. Cole was pretty hilarious! He was actually hitting the ball pretty good. I think Chase liked the go-karts better than golf. Nick took him for a ride the first time and then he went with me. Well, our go-kart was super slow and he was making fun of my driving the whole time! He kept saying "push the gas, mommy"! After we got done, he told Nick that he almost fell asleep b/c we were going so slow! Typical male!!!

Nick heard about some nice walking trails over at the University of North Florida, so we headed over there to check them out. We had a great time hiking through the woods. The boys love nature walks! The trails had some fitness stations scattered throughout, and they wanted to stop and try the exercises each time.
The last weekend of the month was Nick's favorite...the annual MS Mud Run! Christen and Missy weren't able to make it this year, so Nick conquered the race all by himself! The boys and I had a great time watching. The race was in a new location this year, and it was much more spectator friendly. We were able to see him complete 3 of the obstacles. Cole's favorite was when Nick jumped off a platform into a huge pool of mud. He kept saying "Daddy jumped in the mud"! Chase said he can't wait to do the kids Mud Run when he turns 7! So there you have most of our month of March! I'm missing pictures from the River Run and when my dad and Lisa took Chase to the Gator Nationals. Those were definitely 2 big events for us! All in all, it was a great month. Can't believe it came and went so fast.
