After Brewster's, Chase went to stay at the hotel with them for the night. He is still talking about this now! He says "we lived in the first room next to the office...room 103"!! So smart!! They had a fun time watching movies and throwing popcorn into Poppy Joe's mouth when he was snoring!!The next morning we headed to Cracker Barrel for breakfast (we sure did a lot of good eating while they were here)! Then it was on to Toys R Us so the boys could get a little something, and then home for Cole to take a nap. Chase wanted Old McDonald's for lunch, of course, so we headed there for a quick bite to eat. Then it was on to Braden's birthday party at Ollie Koalas (think a nicer version of Chuck E. Cheese's). The boys had a blast playing while we were there, and we got to see my dad and Lisa for a little while. After the party, we went to Clark's for dinner. We hadn't been there in a couple of years, and it did not disappoint. We stuffed ourselves silly! By then we had had a fun filled day and were ready to call it a night. We went home to say our goodbyes, and then they headed back to the hotel for the night and then off to Delaware first thing the next morning.
It was a quick visit, but we really enjoyed getting to spend some time together! We are looking forward to our trip to Delaware in June for the Italian Festival. Then Chase will be going back up there for a week in July to spend some more time with everyone!!
